My sister, Nicole Irrobali (she used you for her wedding in June 2006!) recently told me about the contest you're having and that I should submit my fiance and I's story. Craig and I met at Syracuse University but did not start dating until we re-connected at a friend's birthday party in 2010 when we started dating in September of that year. We have been inseperable ever since and he proposed in a rather elaborate fashion in NYC's Bryant Park on 6/9/12 He had a friend from high school who now works for a movie producer in LA film the whole thing and as a result it has gotten A LOT of publicity! We have been on The Today Show, ABC.com, Piers Morgan on CNN, the Daily Orange Syracuse Newspaper, the home page of yahoo.com, the home page of aol.com and The New York Times (Norway)Another interesting part of our story is that we are moving to Mexico City right after we get married for Craig's job for 2.5 years! Craig is a Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers and I am a textile designer. - While we're in Mexico City, I will be working for a non-profit called Fabrica Social. Fabrica Social works with women's cooperatives in Mexico that focus on that area's indigenious textile skills and helps them to make their designs and products more saleable. I will be helping these women to make product that they can sell and support their families.
Also, in our interview with The New York Times, they said they were thinking of following us for our wedding and doing an article all about our wedding. If this happens, we would promote all the vendors we use :)
Craig and I are getting married at Belle Mer in Newport, RI on 3/23/13 and we would love to be chosen as the winners of your contest!!!
